Default 1995 - Driver Window problem

Heya, not sure if I was supposed to post this in the Monte Carlo section or general tech...but here is my problem. I have a 95 Monte Carlo LS.

The driver side window has a problem closing. When the window is all the way down it can roll itself up perfectly up 40% of the way. After that it gets stuck.

Here are a couple pictures. sorry about the quality...bad camera =/

When taking apart some of the door I noticed the handle is connected to a Torx screw. If I can fix this window myself I will buy the torx bit to take that part out. Not even sure if it is 0even necessary.

Any help with disassembling the door or any ideas with the window issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had this same problem in my old 95 Monte Carlo. I replaced the window motor and the actuator, and that fixed the problem. I suggest you see if anything needs to be greased or if anything became knocked out of whack before you start replacing the parts. Could be as simple as a grease job or a bar that needs to be straightened.
