Default 1997 Monte Carlo

I just got an automatic 1997 Monte Carlo with a 3.1L V6. Im trying to figure out what all I can do to make it faster and better looking. I need ideas and any input from experienced Monte Carlo owners.

Hi ShelDen4141,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

That's a sharp looking little Monte you've got there.

I like Turtle Wax Platinum paste wax, and I'm particularly happy with

the new Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover in the pump bottle.

As you can tell, it's been a little quiet around here lately.

A Cold Air Intake will give you higher revs.

Hand programmers aren't what they're cooked up to be,

AFAIK you'd be better talking to Black Bear or Nelsontune and

getting your chip done.

3.1s are snappy little engines, tho, just getting a set of high

perf plugs and wires will make it a little more jumpy.
