Default 1999 chev. 3.1 engine lumina ac problems.

ac quit one day. would low coolant level stop ac from working? the low coolant light stays on even when the coolant is not low does not show dtc problem for low coolant.

Check sensor , wiring & connector for low coolant . May need to burp the air out of the cooling system , if it really did get low on coolant ?

If this fails , try disconnecting the negative battery cable , to try to reset the coolant lite .

Then come back with an update & discuss the A/C problem ( does the compressor clutch engage when you turn the controls on , on the dash ? ) .

God bless
