Default 1999 Monte Carlo 3.8 Belt Tensioner Coolant Hoses

I am working on the lower intake manifold for my 1999 Monte Carlo Z34 3.8.

I noticed a plastic hose that comes out of the lower intake manifold, into the belt tensioner, and another small one in the back of the tensioner. I assume Chevy did this to cool the tensioner or wanted to take a short cut return to the heater core.

Unfortunately the one from the manifold to the tensioner broke, however, I don't know what the name of the hose is to order a new one. Can someone tell me the name of this hose?

Also, what is the proper way to remove both hoses? It cracked instantly upon moving the intake manifold and looked very brittle.

Thank you in advance.

They break 95% of the time when doing the intake. Just tell the dealer you need the plastic elbows, they will know what you need (very common).

Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me what keeps these from leaking? They appear to be pressed in, however, at this point, baked in.

I'll need to clean the holes and replace them since the "elbow" is in pieces.

Do they have a name so I know what I'm referencing?

Thank you again so much for your assistance.

There should be a grove with a o-ring in it on both ends. If the grove is gone it is broken off in the hole.

They are the plastic elbows that go into the belt tensioner.
