Default 2000/2001 3.1 in a 97 Lumina with 3.1

I have a 1997 Lumina with the 3100 that I use as a FWD Bump to Pass car at my local speedway, spun a rod bearing this weekend and pretty sure I trashed the crank.

Few 2000/2001 3100s at the junk yard that are known good runners, can you swap a 200x 3100 into a 96-99 Lumina? Any fuel injector/pcm changes? Will sensors be plug and play? Re-use my old management stuff?

Info would be helpful.
