Default 2006 mc ss p0521 & p0171

These codes were diagnosed on my 06 MC SS, Does anyone know where the oil pressure sensor or oxygen sensor are located. I believe these codes are related to the two sensors. If, so are they hard to replace. Would the Mass Air Flow Sendor have anything to do with these code. I took it Autozone and they gave me the diagnoses. Any suggestions or inputs would ge great. Thanks.

autozone can't diagnose crap all they did was give you the codes. Not sure what p0521 is off the top of my head bbut 171 is a lean code which can have multiple causes

Autozone can read a code, and perhaps tell you what that code is. I don't know what 521 is, 171 is fuel system lean trim at upstream O2 sensor left side.

p0521 is engine oil pressure sensor performance....is your engine oil light/warning on? it won't turn on the MIL (check engine light) so if thats why you got it scanned then i'd focus on the lean code which has a lot of potential causes...5.3s have TSBs for clogged injectors so if you're going for a quick fix try a can of 44k and see what happens

the 5.3L engine only has one pre cat o2 sensor. A bad maf or pre cat 02 sensor can set the lean code. Do a fuel pressure test to rule out the fuel pump.
