Hello All,

I just upgraded from a 2002 MC SS to a 2006 an the 2006 has the words Monte Carlo on the head lights. One of the headlights is faded, I have tried to use light restoration to make it clear again but none seem to get it completely clear so I would like to replace it but for the life of me I can not find the same assembly anywhere. Is the writing just stickers that were added on after the fact? Also the Low beams have HID's an a Projector cap all the ones I am finding online do not have the Projector(Cap that covers up the HID light an causes it to reflect)?

Side note I want to upgrade the Highbeams to HID's aswell but they do not have that cap, was that added just for the HID's etc? If so I might be better off just buying a whole new set that have the projectors for both low an high. Let me know your thoughts.

 

Rockauto has the entire headlamp assy for $76.79 to 107.79 each. Not to sure about the writing on them. Probably aftermarket.
