Default 83 monte, t5 swap

Ok. i have a 1983 Monte Carlo and i have some questions. i am swapping out my old th350 and thinking about putting a t5 from a v6 camaro in. i was wondering how long the t5 is and if i can use my stock drive shaft.

The t5 is physically the same size as the 700r4 (v8 Models). My old monte carlo, i did the 700r4 swap and needed to trim 3 inches off the driveshaft.
