03 3.8L misfire
My 03 has intermittent misfire (P0300) when accelerating to pass (50 mph and stomp on it). Kinda feels like floating waiting to accelerate. I've replaced plugs, wires, fuel and air filter (very dirty) but no difference. Engine idles smooth , revs smoothly in park. I checked PVC, and sensor voltages. The P0300 code resets and does not return until a test drive at 50+ mph with a stomp acceleration.
I'm thinking a sensor is providing the wrong data. Anybody seen this before? got ideas?
Thanks for the help.
Regards,
Bob

I checked the resistance for the two O2 sensors, both are within spec.
The good news is the problem has gone away through the combination of cleaning, connection checking, confirming sensor specs, etc. So for the time being I'm happy with the results yet concerned that the real cause has yet to be found.
Hey at least it was a nice weekend to spend under the hood. 60's and blue skys just can't last in Reno for much longer in February! Thanks to all who took the time to read my post and to jimmydow1 for the suggestion.
