Default 91 Euro 3.1 stroker

Hi guys! New to the site so take it easy on me... I am currently racing a 91 Lumina Euro with the 3.1. Its a very low budget fwd only class. My question is, what can I do to get more power out of my engine? What can I do as far as making a stroker or would that really even help? Its a dirt 3/8 track and I am already hitting 7000 rpm in second gear and dont want to go to 3rd in fear of losing power out of the corner. I own a automotive machine shop so getting parts is not the hard part. I just don't know alot about these engines and what can be dont to them to get some power out of them. Any ideas comments suggestions or questions are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks!!

What kind of races do you do? (drift, drag races, circuit racing, ...)
What transmission do you have?

Going in high RPM isnt always the best option. Every gear has an optimal point of "shift higher now". And sometimes its better to shift to a higher gear while entering the corner (depends on the corner) , that way you can build up rpm to your max benefit.
