Default 95 Lumina Sedan Help: Transmission Slips

Hey everyone,

I currently drive a 1995 chevy lumina with about 95k miles. A few weeks ago, I noticed that the transmission was slipping. In other words, I would put it into drive, it would go for a few seconds, but when I accelerated further (or after a full stop), the gears would stop catching. I don't wish to replace the whole thing but I'm looking for a temporary fix.

My hopeful plan is to drain the current fluid (which is at a good level but pretty dirty), change the filter, and add some new synthetic transmission fluid with some of that Lucas transmission fix. I can get the fluid drained and filter replaced for $80, and buy that Lucas stuff for like $12. I feel like this is the cheapest way to temporarily resolve this problem, and was wondering if anyone had any input or advice?

appreciate it guys, and lemme know what you think.

easy fix is go to some tuner have him to bring line pressure up through your pcm if that helps your, your problems are either tranny pump or,or cluthes are worn out
that is temporary fix till it dies
