I have a 98 monte carlo z34.
A few years ago i had a friend of a friend replace my turn signal switch. Everything worked fine, or so i thought. some time later i was taking a road trip when i noticed my cruise control didn't work. Didn't engage or anything. So i poked around and noticed that toward the back of the steering column i have some wires that are not connected. My friends friend has since moved so I can't really have him look at it. They are 3 small wires that are orange, gray and light blue with a connector at the end. Im guessing these are the reason the CC isn't working? I dropped the steering column to find a connection they may belong to but i cant seem to fine anything. The wires are only like 6 inches long so there's not a lot of options.
Can someone please tell me where these belong? See attached pics.

mitchell is showing 4 wires coming from the switch,gray\black, dk blue, gray, and pink

 

no, these aren't coming from the switch. These are coming from the bottom of column almost like its coming out of the firewall. If you click the pictures, you can see what i'm talking about even though the thumbnails dont work.

 

I looked at the pics......What i'm saying is that if they were for the cruise control, they would be the colors i mentioned above. And if you want to make sure that the sruise wires are hooked up, look for these color wires coming from the switch
