A/C refill problem!!
ok so i doubled checked the type r134a and i turned on my car ac on max waited like 5 min. im pretty sure i have the right spot its right side of the engine left side of the washer fluid and its underneath the air filter there are 2 ports i tried to put it in the on thats farthest down and it will not take it at all. what could be the problem?? i know its the right refill type bc i like triple check it and it says what type it takes underneath the hood.

Using those auto part recharge kits are not the best way to do it. You have no good way to know if it was low to begin with.

I had to change out the little valve that opens when you connect the refill kit to the line. I think it is called a MacPherson valve. It is like a valve on a bicycle valve only a bit lager and they have them at NAPA. Once I replaced it I was able to fill my truck with new freon.
