Default Voltage Light

I thought it was the battery had it checked and it was indeed bad. I replaced the battery and it still comes on. I checked the alternator and I get a reading of 14.15 volts. So what's up?

Voltage is not as important as amperage when testing the alternator. Also a load must be placed on it ti test. Have it tested. 99% of the time the battery light is a bad alternator, not the battery. It should really be called the alternator light.

Thanks! I'll run it over to Autozone and have them check it out.
