Changing drive belt tensioner Monte SS Intimidator
The belt tensioner on my 2004 3.8 Monte SS Imtimidator needs replacing. I am finding little information specific to this engine online. I am here to ask anyone who may have done this fix in the past for any tips or tricks. If anyone knows of a link to a diy repair video I'd welcome the link.
Here is some info assuming it is the correct Monte Carlo 3.8:

The full set of repair manuals can be found here:

Just look under your specific model of Monte Carlo.
Hope that helps. No tips or tricks, but if you search Youtube, I think just about everything under the sun has a video. I let a repair video walk me through replacing my knock sensors on my 2006 Silverado recently, just pausing my iPad as I followed along with each step.
Replacing a belt tensioner on most vehicles is really just a matter of taking tension off with a socket or wrench so that you can remove the belt, then unbolt the tensioner, and bolt the new one in its place, then put a new belt on while you are at it.
