Unhappy I need serious help please

Im taking out the whole dash on an 1997 lumina. I got it all loose and the passage side wants to come out but the driver side acts like theres something holding in place still were the gauge clust sits. Can anyone please help me out here?? Also how does the whole steering colum come out?? And merry christmas to all you chevy fans.

look it over carefully.. theres probably a little screw you cant see.. or its right infront of you and u look over it.. it's happend to me sooo many times!!! there also might be something plugged in that is holding it.. maybe have someone pull on it a little and you look under the dash. as for the steering im not too sure somebody else should chime in and tell you about that.. good luck!
