Default Is it legal?

I was wondering if anyone else knew that, well at least in my county in Illinois, that it isnt street legal to have straight pipes running all the way to the rear of my Monte. I have to put a y pipe in place for it to be up to code. Bullstuff[:'(]

Yeah ok affordable Horsepower with a Monte Carlo that you can work on, or a Porche, where all the parts are 5X the cost of a regular part, you have to import some parts, pay people to do them, and illogical engineering some times.

In the county i live in in IL it is illegal to do anything to the exhaust system at all, but most of the cops are not jerks aboutit as long as it is not overly loud thay wont bother you
