Default Monte Carlo Wheel Question

Hey everyone so I just got a 2006 Monte Carlo SS not to long ago and I am looking to put some wheels on it. The stock rims are 18x7 and the ones I am looking at are 18x7.5, will that fit ok with no rubbing or anything like that? or should I look for wheels that are 18x7? and if 18x7.5 wheels will fit what size tires should I get on those. On the stock wheels they call for 235/50r18's. would that work ok on an 18x7.5 or is there something that will work better?
