Default My money pit

My 03 monte carlo ls is making a screeching noise coming from the back end. Ive already replaced my shocks and torqued it all to spec. Im wondering if the sway bar (the little arm that connects to the strut) is the cause of it. When I took off my strut assembly I noticed the sway bar was limp. That is, when I moved it, it would just fall towards the ground and had no resistance left in it. What, in order, do I need to check for this sound? Suggestions are appreciated, Id rather do this myself then pay some mechanic to half *** it. The sound ONLY occurs when going over bumbs at a low speed (less than 20).

you normally get a lot more help without throwing little comments out like that
