Needing some help I just bought a new key fob for my 07 Monte Carlo now when I go to reprogram it I notice my engine light is on which wont allow me to reprogram the fob according to the directions. I already fixed my emission issue and erased the code so it does not appear when the car is actually on, only when the key is turned just shy of starting.

 

the ses light does a bulb check with the key on engine off. if the light goes off when the engine is running...no dtc are stored.


aftermarket fob and aftermarket programming instructions? What are the instructions you are following?


anyone with a full function scan tool can program this.
