In the line between the Evaporator and Condensor. It has a pressure sensor in it.

I am trying to locate the orifice tube on 2002 Monte Carlo SS but by looking at the diagram still can't find. Do you have a better image ?

Default Orifice tube Monte Carlo

Take a flashlight and shine it down in the space between the right front shock tower and the brake booster. You will see two aluminum ac lines joined together by a brass colored connector. Some people have told me the master cylinder and brake booster must be moved to access the line, others disagree. I am about to do this very thing on my 2000 SS.
