07 equinox overheating, no heat in cabin

Hello,
My 07 equinox overheats while idling. Driving, no problems. Also not much heat from the heater. I've been adding coolant when low. Any advice??

Do you see a coolant leak?
How often do you need to add and how much at a time?
Maybe water pump failing
