1967 FACTORY right hand drive pickup !
here ya go.. the odd one of the week here
a 1967 chevy c-10 right hand drive!
ordered special for use in england by a US resident
they used the truck in the UK and brought it back again
was sold to a local mailman who delivered mail for a dozen years or so
and was a lawn ornament for many more years until i saved it a month ago
i have only been able to find a few others in the world like it
and spoken to a terrytown,ny assembly plant employee who said they were extremely rare and only ordered a few times
so few times, they would not change the assembly line when they did build one.. they just mounted the frame on the line BACKWARDS and kept their tools and equipment where they normally were for the left hand drive production line, the truck also has what many think are 68' features, but according to the plant worker, big windows and fender markers were available on special ordered 67's
i learn something new every day with this truck and it's a event of it's own driving it around !
am looking to sell the truck, attending as many local shows as possibly to find it a good home.. i hate ebay and hate even more to think this could end up on a boat back overseas
would make a GREAT hotrod and call it -gone postal!
