Default 1979 Scottsdale differential gearing Question

Bought said scottsdale locally, did not have a rear axle, looking to replace. but my FRONT AXLE is a 2.14 - 1 Posi.... HELP ME!!!! I have never heard of a truck with that gear ratio and all my research has pointed me to Olds 440-442s and some cutlass models, But this is the original stock front diff..... I have called multiple companies and been told by Randy's Ring and Pinion that I didnt know what i was talking about and to call back when i got my head out of my ***.... It clearly has 214 stamped into the ring gear AND i even counted axle rotations/ tire rotations and im getting just a hare over 2 full axle turns with one full tire turn.... my mind is blown, please help.
