Glad to join this group.

On my way home today I stopped a looked at an '86 Chevy Silverado K20 4x4. Great looking truck beneath the moss but I have every hope it's going to be cool to play with for a while.

I offered 1k bucks and they accepted so it's now mine.

Anyway to find out what I've got as far as options this truck came with originally?

When I try the VIN decoder I don't get anything in return.

 

Welcome from Florida. Did you try the vin decoder under tools in this forum?

 

I did find it but I do not get any output from the vin.

i verified the number on the title to the truck and it matches.

 

I picked up the truck today and found a options list affixed to the glove box door.

its a bit dirty and will get a power wash today.

next I try to get it running
