Default 2001 Silverado 5.7 L starting problem

Hi, I am James and I am new to this forum. Problem is that truck sometimes will not start first try, sometimes 6 tries, normally 3 or 4. Cold. Been doing this over a year. Changed fuel filter, good fuel pressure. It is a daily driver, so just a matter of time before no start. I would appreciate any ideas. Sorry engine is 5.3L.
