Thanks pilot1996. I am mad at the Texas weather because it seems like it has been dreary outside ever since I bought the car! I ordered some parts to modify the car. I recently installed a new air lid with a KN filter. It added about 20 horse to the car. I also have a new grille on order and 35th anniversary emblem for the interior on order. I hope to add a new exhaust in the new future. I am having a blast playing around with this car.</P>


Question about the convertible. Mine is a ragtop not vinyl. It is also black. Any suggestions for a protectant? I want to keep it clean and avoid sun damage. Thanks.</P>

I keep mine in the garage, mine is also a ragtop made of cloth. Fact of the matter is, you will replace it in time, it's just the way it is. I have not found a particular protectant that I like. If you find one, I would be interested to hear about it though.</P>

my old ragtop went bad, and it was garage kept as long as i had it..it sucks, but they just wear out...<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">
