My sons Avalanche recently had a dead battery, when I put the charger on it the antitheft alarm went off so I turned on the ignition and it shut off. Now the key fob won't work and the truck starts then immediately dies. The antitheft light on the dash goes out almost immediately when I turn it to the on position. Any help would be appreciated.
