Default 2010 Cobalt LS blowing warm air on cold

Help is needed Chevy world. I just bought a 2010 Cobalt. The A/C was working fine before the car was parked for almost 6 years until I bought it. Now it’s blowing warm air on cold. The compressor is working fine. It engages when turned on. The system shows that it is full. When I put it on hot it blows way hotter than what is coming out when set on cold. Can anyone help me? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome from Florida. You probably have a bad blend door actuator or a stuck or broken blend door.

Thanks for the reply. I was told it might be the blend door by someone I spoke to. I have search YouTube and google for a location on the blend door on this 2010 Cobalt to no avail. Do you happen to have that info?

I am not familiar with the Cobalt. The actuators are under the dash and you might possibly have to remove the dash to get to it. Not sure but that is what I heard. Good Luck.

Yeah that’s what I researched also. But I’m not sure if the blend door is in the same location like the other one
