Default 2014 Chevy Impala puddle lights

Good morning all, my name is Larry.I am a newbie here and hoping someone can help me out.
2014 chevy impala 1lt and the "puddle lamps" will not illuminate when entering vehicle at night no matter how dark it is outside. Use both key fobs to unlock and same thing happens? Went into vehicle settings for lighting and no luck. Please let me know if there is something I'm missing? Thanks for your time!

check your fuses. page 10-41. you could verify the other items also work that are on the same fuse.

Sorry that I couldn't find any more relevant information. I did see silverado has an option to set the duration of their puddle lights....but I don't think Impala has that option.

Do they flash when you set the alarm for the car? I know something flashes on my mirrors on my 2ltz...and I never checked for my puddle lights.

I checked mine out when I got home tonight. (It was still daylight).

I opened the door with the push button on the handle - nothing.
Closed door.
Pressed unlock on fob, and they lit up.
Set alarm with double press - and nothing.

Of course this is an ltz - so a little different...

BumperKing has a 1lt I think...but haven't seen him around here after he did his bumper work.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out for me. Going to swing by the dealer tomorrow after work and see what's going on with it. Other issue I have had is the trunk release on key fob. Although it says "hold" a very short tap pops the trunk open! Have you experienced or heard anything about that issue? I read somewhere that dealer has to reprogram for 2 seconds? Is this the case? Thanks

Why does this spammer's link show at first view, but on subsequent views of this thread, the link is no longer visible?

It's there in the quote

I've mashed it up so it shows in here without any trickery.

I've seen this before on here.
