iMy 2020 Silverado with 6,000 miles (5.3) decided to dump all of its refrigerant for the a/c. Took it to my dealer, they said the evaporator went on it. To replace it, the dash and steering column needs to be taken out. It has been one week since they have had it. Anyone else have the same issue?

 

Evaporator issues are rare but expensive since the evaporator is in the CC box under the dash, so is well protected from damage. At least you have a warranty.
