Hey hey everybody!! Member newbie sayin I'm glad these forums exist! 😆 26 years of turnin wrenches and swapping more engines and tranny that I could guess but never got into much more basics than general wiring/electrical.. good head on my shoulders and have figured out some things but this I wouldn't mind an opinion or many on.. I am wanting to pull the engine out of my 88 Chevy.. Extremely worn out 305.. it is four-wheel drive and I have a free donor truck that is an 06 model four wheel drive with a 5.3.. both automatic.. since the truck is free and is running and driving I am wondering if it would be feasible to do a little extra work in figure out some wiring to put it in versus spend 1500 to 2000 on something decent to do an exact fit in.. just want to make sure I avoid disaster IF that is the direction I seem to be heading LOL..
