81 c10 license plate light

Default 81 c10 license plate light
Hello have a question on how to wire the license led light. I am replacing the stock light do to installing roll pan that has led light so my question is the new led light has 2 wires old one had 1 12v wire and grounded?? Any help would be appreciated

Welcome from Florida. One of the 2 wires is probably a ground wire. Did the new light come with a wiring diagram?
