Hello World:


Please help!!! My truck all of a sudden started studdering the other day and then stalled out & cut-off. Fast forward - Replaced the fuel first, then the fuel pump, fuel filter, Ignition control module, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel again, intake vacuum hose, EGR vacuum hose. Still she starts up fine and shuts straight off. I can sometimes keep her running by giving it gas but even that is erratic. Tired of dumping money in a 93 pickup but with the new tranny, starter, and what I listed above she is almost a new truck. Anyone had this problem before??? HEELLPP!!!

I have a 90 and it seem we have the same problem trucks in good shape but dies with no engine light or code. If you have found the problem please let me know

 

Next part I would throw at it is a new distributor. How many miles on truck? My 93 ran poorly when distributor needed replacing, especially at idle.
