My setup is a 91 k1500 with 355, 10.5-1 forged aluminum pop up pistons, factory 72cc tbi heads, circle track bottom end with stock stroke, factory cam stock rockers, 20 psi fp with 4.3 injectors ( tried 305 injectors just did not as good neither did 350 injectors at 12psi) 1993 computer, harness, transmission and rear end 3.42 gears all from Yukon of that year. Problem is I blew the head gaskets ran it hot and warped the heads, resurfaced heads reassembled engine, never any problems before this incident other than occasional pinging from high cr. Anyway, after reassembly the engine ran great besides the fact that when I stop at any givin time at random while the engine is warm 195 degrees idle will surge pretty rough, just enough to aggravate me. Have had problems in the past with this tbi setup such as running too lean, too rich both were fuel pressure, dead spot at about 50% throttle which I never did figure out just quit one day or became less noticeable, replaced distributor, plugs and wires and cap, map sensor, cts, tps,egr valve and solenoid, timing is at 0 degrees with advance wire (forgot it's purpose name) disconnected and harmonic balancer has not slipped I know for sure. Any help and advice towards this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance guys
