Default 97 k1500 won't start

I have a 1997 Chevy k1500 that is currently not starting. It was throwing codes that said the CPS (camshaft positioning sensor) was off and I was misfiring in two cylinders. I bought a new CPS and installed it. The truck is a V8 5.7 350 motor. The spark plugs are getting spark and the cylinders are getting fuel. I'm not sure about the fuel pressure since I have no way to test it. The timing is perfect and I have a new distributor, cap and rotor. It still won't start even with starter fluid. Please help ASAP.

How did you check the spark plugs for spark? Sounds like there is no spark since the starter fluid should have at least make it try and start.

Took the spark plugs out of the block but left them in the wire. Then set them next to the block and tried turning it over. Saw good spark.
