'97 Tahoe 4/4
I'm 16 and I love to listen to music but my Tahoe is completely stock and I'm looking for a way to change the sterio out inexpensively and easily. I would love to be able to listen to my iPod through the sterio. Please give any suggestions and help. All is welcome.
theres more than one way to listen to your ipod through the radio.
1. Get an FM transmitter. it plugs into the ipod and you are able to set the radio station you wish to transmit out on. then set your radio to that station and you're all done. only bad part is, you need to find a station that doesnt normally come in, so while your driving at times it may start to come in and you will need to set to a new one
2. Change out the radio for one with a AUX input on the front. then you just put the radio onto AUX mode and plug the 3.5mm jack into the ipod and listen. this is much better than the FM transmitter because there is no interference. you still need to change songs with the ipod itself but the sound is very clear
3. change the radio out and get the ipod interface wire. this allows you to act like the ipod is not even there, and you are able to change the songs, etc with the radio itself
