Default AC issue with my suburban

I have a 2010 Suburban. In the winter time, when the temp reads 32 degrees the AC kicks off. I like to run the AC with the heat in the winter time because the humidity is always high. My windows fog up. When the AC is running with the heat on it drys out the air in the truck and unfogs the windows. I never had this issue with my other suburbans. Is this something new or is something wrong? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Most likely the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor is registering too low a pressure. The ECM will not engage the compressor if the pressure gets around 35 psi or below due to the characteristics of R-134a. Frankly I've never noticed just exactly when the A/C compressor quit vs. ambient temperature, though.
