Default AC Lines

First off, new member here. Hi to all. Secondly... I've got a 93 Silverado C1500 Suburban. Have been told there's a major leak somewhere in the lines from the low input valve for the freon. I've done a quick feel of the lines but I'm no mechanic so I don't know what to look / feel for. So basically it'll take the freon just fine and when the truck is started and the AC is turned on, There's a split second of cold air then Nothing. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forum...
This is the new member welcome area so your question might not get the exposures to helpful input, head over to the Tahoe Suburban section and ask your question....
but I can add that you are probably loosing the Freon so fast that the first cycle of the AC compressor the system is already too low so it shuts off to protect itself from the low refrigerant level...

You will need to add dye to the system and use an ultraviolet light to find the leak... Head over the Tahoe Suburban area for more info...
