Another Noob
I've owned a lot of rigs, at 15 I got my 1st car, a 63 Biscayne 4 dr. My 2nd rig was 68 Impala 2dr.
I've also owned a 74 Riv, 87 Regal and a 62 Tempest.
I've only ever owned one F*rd, it was a 3 month stop gap between my Toyota P/U that died at 200K and finding my current rig, a 97 Astro AWD cargo.
Even with with the Toyota, Fiats (I was young) Datsun, F*rd, Chry's, Mits and the Wrangle TJ (not giving that up) I'm a Chevy guy.
So this is me,
Howdy

Myself also I have owned quite a lot of chevy's and one of my best one was a citation 1984 v6 2.8 liters with heavy duty cooling system. I pulled trailers up to 16 feet with this car and had hardly no problems at all up to 1990 when I traded it for a new cherooke. We now drive a 2009 uplander and after 22.000 kilometers no problems to complaint.

One of the painters at the job site drives an Uplander, not a bad little rig for his line of work. An Express would be a little better for all my carpenter tools, but the Astro isn't to bad, and it's a lot easier to find a parking spot with

This is the only Chevy I got in my stables right now.
It ain't much to look at, but it does a bang up job of hauling all my carpentry tools. I've got plans to lift it 2-3" and put some 29" BFG's on it.

To bad the Astro was dropped from the production line. It was so popular with the contractors. Even in family van it was a good van except for the hardly no room for the feet on the passager side. My brother drives a 97 astro . It was converted to a 4 wheel drive with raised suspension. Quite a nice van with only 60000 kilometers.

The GenII 95 and up have more foot room then the Gen I, and theres plenty of room for my work boots
The Express is nice, I looked at a few when van shopping, but there just so dang big. Seeing this was going to be my only rig at the time, I didn't want to drive a school bus all the time. It can get a little tight when I get all my tools in it, but that's usually just when moving onto the next job site.
It's not fast, it's not cool, but it does the work
