Best Years Of Pickups: 1973 to 1998?

The body styles, the motors, the innovative features, the creature comforts... Weren't these years instant classics? I would KILL to own one from any of these years. Instead I'm stuck with a 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis and a 1996 Ford F-150!!! When will/can I cross over to one of these glorious aforementioned trucks? Should I get my hopes up? Is it worth the wait? My life it seems would be complete with a Chev pickup. Am I wrong? Fill me in! [&:]
