Bumper gap on 2006 HD2500

Bumper gap on 2006 HD2500
Hey Room I have a question about my 2006 Chevy HD2500 4x4. I put a new stock front bumper on yesterday. When I got the truck it was bent. Well I noticed a large gap between the top of the black bumper caps an the bottom of the grill. I didn't think much until everyone started asking about it. Then I started looking at others an no gap. Bumper hits up nice against the grill. Any ideas why I have a large gap I'd sure appreciate some input thank you. Oh an no I don't have a body lift on it
