Hello all, I have a question for all of you masters. I have a 95 k1500 stepside with a 5.0L and the motor seized up and won't crank. I pulled the motor and started the tear down, but on the local Craigslist ads I found a 95 Chevy short bus with a 5.7L and a 4l60e transmission. My question is can I do a motor swap from the 5.0 to the bus 5.7l with basically just a drop in replacement? Would the bus motor be any different from a 5.7l in a truck? And can I use the bus transmission in place the trucks? I've heard that the pressure requirements are higher and can burn the clutches and plates with the truck? Any advice will help, Thank You in advance!!!
