Red face changing tracks

well, after nearly 20 years playing with sbc in sprint cars I have slowed the pace and now looking at hot rodding. but most of the new toys have computers and things I have not been around, so it is a learniong curve I must climb. I can run these PC fine but not up on the engine controllers. I did just swap a 96 vortec into a 92 k1500 computer and all and got it all working but the fuel gauge. but now I have two new toys. one a 1975 450 sl with a tpi sbc, and a 1962 scout still virgin with the exception of the dana 44's, thinking the small sprint motor (292 cid, 307 w/ 302 stl crank, brpwnfield alum. heads) that has been in the corner of the shop for 12+ years might make it into this one.

Welcome to the forum. Believe me when I say that if an old fart like me can begin to understand those things, you won't have a bit of problem. That learning curve gets higher with age. Enjoy your new hobby too.
