Chevrolet Lumina 3.1 LS Starting troubles
Hello,
My name is Randolph live in Belgium and have a impoorted Chevrolet Lumina 3.1LS from 1996.
I have starting problems. Batterie is ok but it just doesn't start. It can start for a couple of days and then suddenly like today it doesn't start.
It just came back from workplace and was driving for two weeks. Yesterday it didn't start and after trying and trying it finally started.
Today again it doesn't turn orn batterie is ok but doesn't start. I stopped because i saw that batterie is going down and was afraid that it wel
not have enough power to start at all. I am waiting for help now but maybe someone has an idea where to look.
If somebody has an idea what to do feel free to write me....

Is the starter solenoid original? These things have a copper contact in them that when energized pulls full battery voltage to the starter motor. Over time, and starts they become very rough, and the current is limited,.
