Default Chevy 30 Van

Hi, my name is Unice and I currently live in Philadelphia. I am in desperate need of assistance, my mother has a Chevy Van 30 Class C motorhome, and the alternator was replaced yesterday. After the alternator was replaced, the vehicle began backfiring and the battery voltage is reading high. Currently, the vehicle is sitting by the roadside as it broke down again a about 50 miles from the last repair shop. Anyway... when AAA came the techinician stated that the belts had too much give and that they may have been put on incorrectly and this is causing may is probably causing it to backfire. Does anyone know of an engine diagram for this vehicle, mainly something showing the belt patterns? Please help! We are getting ready to get back on the road to head downto DC to see what can be done.

Haven't you tried searching for it in Google? You can find info of value therethat might help. Or better search for it in this forum. I have been lurking here and got info on fixing my GM window regulator. There are lots of threads that will surely help. Welcome!
