I have a 2007 chevy Silverado with this same problem. Had the thermostat replaced did not fix, all the info on line seems to point to no one knows for sure what to do. Everything seems to work like it should but I keep getting coolant hot A/C off and 0 on temp gauge .Will this hurt the engine, and I took it to a Chevy dealer and there were no codes listed.
