Diagnose Engine Codes P0101 P0171 P0174 P0442
Hi.
A few months ago the following Engine codes popped up following an Engine warning light:
P0101 P0171 P0174 P0442. I used MAF cleaner to clean the MAF sensor, and cleared the codes. The same codes re-appeared a couple of days ago. I could
use some help on how to systematically diagnose what is going on with my 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 4.8L.
The only performance symtom that I notice is a slightly eneven idle. This has been present for quite a while.
When the codes were tripped, the LTFT bank 1 and bank 2 read -- 25 and 23. Running lean
MAF read 4.22 at 60 mph.
Thanks.
Jon

You can also remove the MAF and soak it in isopropanol alcohol overnight, Then shake it up good, let it dry completely, and still use the alchol for starting wood pellets or wood fireplaces.or cleaning glass, ect..Works as antifreeze for your windshield washer fluid too!
Here is the selection of MAF units from Rock Auto: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/chevrolet,2004,silverado+1500,4.8l+v8,1424090,exha ust+&+emission,mass+air+flow+sensor,5128
