I need some help. I recently purchased a 2001 Chevy Malibu for my son. I've had some minor electrical issue's that can't be explained. To start, I noticed that the air conditioner will occasionally shut off. Cruise control has also shut off without hitting the break or cancelling. This morning my son started the car and the running lights and tail lights came on and wouldn't shut off after turning the ignition off. I plugged up an OBD II scan tool and found that there were no codes. I did a "clear codes" and they went off and came back on about 30 seconds later. I have pulled the relay to keep from running the battery down. He also had a code P0204 but the car is running fine. cleared the code and it hasn't come back. Any suggestions?
