Just purchased a 1950 Chevy styleline project car. Unfortunately the lady's father passed while he was working on it. We are trying to figure out the engine that is in the car. The block number on the back is 3970010 K 1 and the ID# on the front is 161101073 K08. We know the number on the back of the block was mass used for the 327 and the 350 the number on the front we can not find anything online about it. Any help would we greatly appreciated. We are hoping to find out what car this motor came out of so hopefully he used the the front clip out of the same car. Since no one knows what the front clip is and what the rear end is.
